Marine animals are those animals that live or spend much of their lives in water . Given that the oceans represent 71% of the crust of our planet , it seems clear that many species of marine animals that exist but are also the most concerned about extinction due mainly to fishing.
Within marine animals we can classify these into two groups:
1. Those who do not need 100% of the water : These are the animals that depend on the land for breeding, taking their young on the shore or on shore, but also feed on other marine animals (such as small fish ) and always develop near water which also can swim and indeed submerged for long periods of time. In the case of animals, sea lions, penguins and seals.
2. Those that if they need a 100% water : They are animals that are born, grow, reproduce and die in the water, because it is their nature habitat. Outside it could not survive. Examples of this group are: whales, sea snake, octopus, squid, etc.
It should also be noted that marine animals are not just fish . In fact in these animals we should also classify birds such as gulls, mammals such as dolphins and whales and even reptiles like t marine ortuga or sea serpent.
